Porn ads that won't let go

I keep getting **** pop ups that ask me to click "yes".
When I click "no", they just change to a different box telling me "sorry, but you have to click "yes" to continue".
Sometimes I can be 5 minutes before I can get it to shut down.
I'm running Zone Alarm, Ad-Aware, and Pest Patrol, but still keep getting them.
What do I need to do, and is there a way of shutting down any that arrive, without playing their stupid game?
Thanks, anyone.

Not go to **** sites?
Try the google taskbar, it seems to be quite good at stopping all kinds of pop up ads esp the ones that pop up in front of the newspapaer article you're trying to read.

Another vote for the google toolbar. It allows you to block all of these annoying popups. I use it all the time

Sounds like an activex control it wants you to install. You get the option of Yes, No and a check box that says something about trusting this company as they are usual signed.
Not sure on a personal pc, but we strip all activex out using a proxy server.

You need to get one of the following bits of free software that searches your system for software, adware, and tracking stuff that has been installed on your system without your concent. You'd be very, very surprised how much there is even, if you're not looking for monkey spanking material.
You can get one called adware, which is pretty good, you can get this from download.com.
But the best one I have found is spybot, as sometimes programs are running, and adware can't remove them while they're running, however, they're running in the background, so you can't kill them. Spybot, however, then reboots your machine, and stops windows from booting while it removes the pest, then boots as normal.
Everyone should have this, I use it at least once a week.
get it from:
