Every time I exit outlook express the following message comes up, any ideas?

"The insruction at "0x77f83905" referenced memory at "0x009b4480". The memory could not be "written".

Click ok to terminate the program

possible bad memory

or

a virus that has caused problems in an email that you're opened during that session in outlook

or

its a corrupt email message.

does it happen if you open outlook and close it right away without doing anything? Give it a few tries if not, try going into specific inbox's or subfolders etc then closing it to try and narrow down which folder might be causing the trouble.

Which version of Outlook Express? Version 5 used to do this to me all the time, but when I upgraded to version 6, all the problems went away.

Having said that, I now use Outlook XP. It's still got bugs, but nowhere near as many as Outlook Express....
