we run an NT server in the office and I have XP pro on my laptop.

A folder has been created on the server for all the contacts, this is accessed via 'outlook>personal folders> "contacts"'. However when I disconnect from the server I am unable to access these contacts.

Is there a way of copying, all or indvidual, the contacts to my laptop so I can access them away from the office. Ideally I would like it to sync on connection.

Don't you just setup your Offline folders on Outlook?

IIRC you can put a copy in your 'Favourites' in the personal folder, and then make this avaliable offline.

Id probably set up offline folders to sync with that specific public folder. That is is you can set offline folders to sync with public folders, only ever done it with actual inbox folders.
