Is it just me or are others getting an Email, supposedly from Microsoft saying install this patch immediately?
I have received about ten copies of this over the last couple of days and they have all contained a Demaru virus that has been deleted.

check the emails code - although it may contain Microsoft in the senders name, it will almost definately be from another source, spoofing their name
Personally I delete all email from anyone asking me to download software and add the sender to my spam list.

Yes and I think its quite a clever one as the email does look like a genuine Microsoft email. Had a few people ringing me to check that they should install the virus !!!
Unfortunately most PC users these days have no understanding of what is behind the screen. PC world and co must love viruses.
