Anyone spread some light on how you change somethings colour in a photo for example the wheels on a car or the paintwork colour but still maintain the shading etc.???

I've got a link at home for a site that takes you step by step through a colour change. Will post it up tonight

In Photoshop CS at least, you can use the Replace Colour tool (Image | Adjustments | Replace Colour...).

This allows you to select a colour and then adjust its hue/saturation etc. Very, very quick.

I've tried that and my results look nothing like yours PMLS infact most of the time my images look like negatives and bits of the image are changing here there and everywhere LOL!
