Any Photoshop experts out there?

I'm trying to find a way of producing a "hair" effect using either Photoshop or PSP7 - basically trying to produce a logo of a monster with long green hair hanging off of him (dont ask why!).

Anyone know if this is possible? If not any suggestions for software packages that cater for this sort of reqiurement

What about taking a photo of somebody with similar hair to what you're looking for, adjusting the colour sliders to make it green, and using the cloning tool to paint it onto your monster?

Go to Filter / Render / green monster hair

Couldn't you blur part of it then use the smudge tool to drag it about a bit - or find a pic of suitable hair an change it to green.
