Is this MS doc corretc then:
the bit where it say note "you can't have the infrastructure master role on a GCat server ?? I thought that when you build your first root controller in 2000 & 2003 it is automatically a gcat & contains the 5 ops roles ??

ignore this one now, UNLESS anyone has got the objects to update on a GCAT server which is also holding the Infrastructure Master role (as MS said it doesn't work)
