Unhappy

Bloody hell....went online to get some info about batteries..get some pop up thing about extra inches etc etc ..next thing

My favourites have 80 extra listings. My desktop has 2 short cut to **** sites.

Got Mcafee runing overtime. Fire wall etc upto date. Done a SPybot run.,spam killer etc.

Remove all to trash and delete 4 times but it just all comes back.

Any clues???

Cheers

personally, i prefer pestpatrol from www.safersite.com.

the pop up can use messenger, so kill that service or have a look at www.grc.com.

get popup stopper or enable add blocking in your firewall that'll solve your pop up problem.

Download "HiJack This" from here and run it but don't delete everything it finds!

http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/ .......that'll find anything.

If you don't want it to happen again get rid of IE and try Opera

That's the problem - you clicked No which is the same button as yes!!!

You should have just closed the pop-up box (little X top right - hint hint)

No, it certainly should not

Maybe you should retrace your steps through your IE history and find out who the scum are

yeah go through you history and report whatever site it was that this occurred on.

and if u get pop up things like that, dont click no, dont click yes, and dont click the small x in the corner (this sometimes is the same as yes!) just press alt+f4 to close it to be safe
