I'm getting an error on starting a P4 machine:
"Java.exe has generated errors....."
I gather this is a well known bug and I need to download the latest Java Runtime software to resolve - problem is I got to the Sun site http://java.sun.com/downloads/ and there are loads of them - how do I know which to use?
This will be for a P4 with Oracle 8.1.7 and Oracle Forms 6i.

Just in case anyone else has this problem - error was due to a dodgy copy of Symcjit.dll.
Updated all copies of this file (there were about 5 spread all over the shop) - now no java errors on starting up.
Sure this is the file that stops you installing Oracle onto a Pentium4 in the first place!
