blue172, For the love of god DO NOT USE FRONTPAGE!

It's the biggest load of cr@p EVER! even notepad is better!

Trust me, I'm a professional web designer and I work for a website hosting company, the amount of f*cking crap I have to fix and sort out on customers sites due to FRONTPAGE f*cking it up is unbelievable!!

and don't even get me started on frontpage extensions!
Oh, also the fact that frontpage generates so much un-needed code is beyond belief. You could create a page in FP, open it in note pad, remove two thirds of the code, and it would still run and display as it should!

My advice - If you want to use a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor then use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX!

Whilst Frontpage is sneered at by those with Dreamweaver or Notepad, for a beginner it will help him get a simple web page up and running.

The REAL men use Visual Studio!

There is a setting in the latest frontpage to stop it adding all the cr@p code that it does.....
