Just getting a feeling for the best I can get ... how long does it take you to create a dvd image - any 4gb ish dvd to hd?

and which tool do you use including version ?

Depends on the speed of your drive as well as the DVD size and how much of the DVD you are ripping.

But as a guide my 12x DVD-Rom will create an image in around 10 mins.

Edit: Oh, and thats using DVD Decrypter

i use dvd shrink, its freeware and does the job

 

why use dvd decrypter, use anydvd and you can rip disc to disc and remove css and macro

Why use DVD Decrypter ? Because theres a lot more to it than just CSS and Macrovision.
