How do you change the default file sync location so that I can put files directly on to the compact flash card. IE currently 'my documents' is in the default location which I am assuming is on the 32mb smart media card and I want to change this so everything I download goes directly to the compact flash card.

Is this possible? As the axim came with a 32mb smart media card installed this seems to be the default storage area. If I want to change this to the 256mb compact flash card do I need to remove the 32mb card and do a hard reset so that it will then default to the compact flash card and then insert the 32mb card?

Any other way to change defaults?

Cheers Greg. Are there any free ones at all? Also just out of interest would the hard reset with the just the compact flash card work in terms of making that the default area?

Yeah just read more about the bloody thing, the 32mb is on board, not as I thought a card and you can't change the default location of the my documents folder so always has to go to the on board storage. Thats totally cr@p when you want to transfer mp3s and stuff as you have to keep manually moving the files to the compact flash card to get all the files across

OK forget that

Just use the explore button in activesync and then browse to the compact flash card and copy and paste files from the pc direct into the compact flash area, sorted!

No more need for that stupid my documents sync
