Error 720 (blueyonder connection)

A mate has a dial-up connection to Blueyonder and has, since Wednesday been unable to connect, due to a problem, reporting an Error 720, PPP and something about protocols needed to be installed for the connection.
He claims not to have changed anything in the connection settings... but he does have a couple of children who use the PC too, who may have.
Tried installing a new connection using the instructions from Blueyonder's site, and it gives the same error.
Any ideas?
