just received this email from my isp virgin

You may have recently noticed that your Virgin.net Internet service hasn't been running quite as smoothly as usual.
We're sorry if your service was interrupted. This disruption was caused by a number of viruses that have affected the Internet over the past few weeks. "
the service has been a bit cr*p but nothing really major over last 2 weeks.
first question is has anyone else experieneced slow browsing on theri isp recently?
second question has anyone changed adsl isp. is so what were the costs. aslo did you experience any downtime during the transition. if so how many days??

Hello
You have to pay the activation fee again. There used to be a delay as you effectively had to cease one ISP and then re-apply with another. I think this has changed now.
