WS_FTP keeps timing out on me while I leave the software dormant. Can anyone tell me how to increase the latent time while idle so that when I go for a toilet break the connection to my server is still up? I've looked through the options and can't find anything to solve it.
Thanks in advance

I thought as much but my old PC and server used to stay connected for hours hence I thought It might have been the version of WS_FTP I have. Thanks again

Might not be possible with WSFTP but SmartFTP certainly handles this and is a great all-round FTP client as well. It sends a "NOP" command to the server every minute or so to stop it timing out.

It's shareware with no expiry. Makes WS_FTP look pretty prehistoric to be honest.
