how to remove pop-up without 3rd party software?

getting those advert pop-up in IE. is there a way to remove them without using 3rd party software like ad-aware?

if you mean those annoying pop-ups that appear to be windows style alert boxes, check this link out for how to turn it off....

stop windows messenger pop-ups
