Can anyone recommend a good piece of software that will allow me to create a flashing .gif image?

Image ready does it, it comes with photoshop 6 or higher (cant remember if it comes with earlyer version's
)

Microsoft Image Composer does, it's free I think, but I aint zure where I got it from, I think it comes as part of MS Office

Download this into GifAnimator.. It used to be freeware of which I have the program if you want it... then you can see how the frames are laid out etc...
Personally, they are annoying as ****
