I am looking for a motherboard smaller than the eipa vm8000 i currently have, anyone know where I could get one, it has to be at leasst 600mhz or and if possible requiring no fan.

This is for a project I am working on, cheers.

I have the PCM-5820 and that's fantastic, but it's a P233...

Nano-ATX format boards are just starting to be showcased, or at least the specs if memory serves.......

That's true - check out http://www.mini-itx.com for pics of the the new nano stuff from Via.

Embedded stuff is getting more mainstream, but there's still a price premium. Unless you're cheap like me and buy from ebay

Cheers guys, I was looking for something smaller than a mini-itx which I already have :-)

Want to make a comp that fits in a old cd drive, might just stop dreaming and get another ITX and custom build a case, oh how geeky and sad lol

My firewall fits in the size of a 5.25" drive case...




There's a 2.5" drive in there too

Advantech PCM-5820 from Ebay... 2.5" 4GB drive cheap from ebay... 64MB SODIMM a fiver from CEX...

The case is actually from maplins, and was a fiver. All in all, a cheap PC - but it's only a Pentium 233.
