So, apparently, my boss has decided to load up some spyware on my PC to stop me looking at Scoobynet all day.
Obviously this needs to be rectified.
Got any ideas on how to fool the thing? I think it works by sending out the title of the window you have open. So i need a program that will tell him i always have my design software open.

You could use dialup from a laptop, that would be fast enough and not use the network

We have the same probelm in our office some Red Hand software i think with Norton's PCAnywhere. any help would be useful though an image of a work house from the victorian era with the company name on it as a screen saver is the only option i have thought of.

Agreed. The words p*ss and take spring to mind. If the boss is concerned enough to install something like this, he's probably looking for an excuse to discipline you, so why give him another reason?

Pffft @ you lot, lets face it whats more important, work/money or scoobynet? I think you should get your priorities right.

Tell the boss to Pi$$ off, shove his poxy job up his ar$e, then go home, log on and tell us how good it is having as much spare time as you like

Wink

Try this;

Open notepad copy the following text in between the asterisks into it.

************************************************** **

<html>

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">

<title>I am working really hard - honest</title>

</head>

<frameset rows="*" BORDER="0" frameborder="0">
<frame src="http://www.scoobynet.co.uk" FRAMEBORDER="0" NORESIZE SCROLLING="yes" MARGINHEIGHT="0" MARGINWIDTH="0">
</frameset>
</html>

************************************************** **********

Save the file as "whateverulike.html"

Then double click on the file, et voila Scoobynet in a window with the title "I am working really hard - honest", obviously you can change that to whatever you want.
