Please can you tell me what to do as I went on a new computer at work today and it had my password saved!?!?! Do I need a new p/w is someone else using my s/n?

Do you have a roaming profile?

Assuming you know what one of them is

are you using NT, Windows 2000 or XP and logging into a domain?

If so chances are your cookies are following you round on a roaming profile as someone said above, so nothing to worry about.

I went from 98 (old work computer) to XP (new work computer) very worried as its a new system over the weekend and a whole new network!!!!!!

Ok... chances are then you are logging into a domain from XP. To make absolutely sure you may or may not have access to do this but try the following:-

Right click on "My Computer", then choose "Advanced" tab and under "User Profiles" click "Settings"

There should be a list of profiles on the computer you are using which will be everyone who has logged into it so far. Your username should be in the list and if it is roaming it should look something like:-

DOMAIN\username xxxKB Roaming

if it isn't roaming then:-

a) you have logged into the computer before and don't remember it
b) someone has copied your profile onto the computer for some reason
c) someone knows your login details and is stalking you
