ok im sure as some of you have seen my threads about my P O S pc not wanting to run properly, frame rates on games getting sluggish imitating an internet connection problem when the line is fine.

could spyware have any effect on my pc and cause these problems?

Also, is there an easy way to see if your pc is infected with spyware, and delete it?

Do a search for Spybot on google - used it last week and very impressed. Amazed at what it found!!!!

Tried Adaware as well - spybot is way better.

Best to run them both, IMHO. I find that both seem to pick up on ones the other has missed. Seeing as they're both free...

I still had 2 programs that neither could remove - ended up searching tech forums to get shot of them.
