All of a sudden I can not type an address into the address bar, it shows up then locks the system when i press enter or go. If I search for a websire on msn's homepage that automatically comes up its fine. If I select a facourite or a history address its fine, please help..

 

maybe got some virus or spyware? have you scan your HDD?

 

Scanned hd, a few spyware but nothing that would cause trouble, no virus's. Reinstalled explorer still have the problem

 

Just to eliminate problems... default all your explorer settings, empty your cache and temp internet files and also clear the SSL state - all these are under Tools/Internet Options. What happens now?

 

Done all that now, problem still there
