Exclamation

Hi Folks - desperate for some help.
I've been kind of foolish - I secured my .pst personal folder with a password about 2 or 3 years ago. I have just had a new PC at work and I cannot remember the password (I'd forgotten I'd even got one) for the .pst file. Thus I can't access any of my work emails which is a serious disaster.
Is there anyway I can find the password?
Cheers for your help

Elcom PRS will try to crack it. £20 personal or £40 business.

There used to be a bodge way of doing this by forcing the PST to upgrade to large folders but I can't remember what exactly.

Chris.

One set of PRS tools used to be £300+ IIRC - £20 or £40 is a good price for an emergency tool.

No probs

The MS utility is called PSTUG19.exe which has the "feature" (ahem!) of removing any password applied to a PST file. It's not guaranteed to work and hence you are better off purchasing a tool designed for the job.
