Seems that after downloading the patches for Win XP on the Dell Inspiron 8500 laptop, the USB ports have been seemingly disabled.

Anywhere I can download them from? Tried the Dell site, unless I am missing a title, I can't see any.

Help please.

Do they show up in Device Manager? Maybed marked as disabled? Tell XP to update the driver and it will sometimes find it's own driver to re-activate the ports.
