Why Champman wont run?

I did a complety fresh install. Installed DX9, Win2k Pro SP3.

And still whcn i click on the exe it creates and error and says its created a log.

a) i cant find this log
b) why does it do this? never had problems before

Just done another fresh install.

Works on my brothers machine not mine.

Got me thinking, could it be something with the chipset? boards the only difference?

can you download any of the fixes for cm4

ie take it up to release 4.08

YHM dunk.

its ok getting CM4 but theres a fault and id like to hunt it down.

It failed on
Win 2k Pro SP3 & SP4 DX9.0b + 2 fresh installs
Installed XP Pro now DX9.0b failed again
de-clocked the cpu still no go.
