I have a very basic access database with a simple input form layout.
I want to add a button that emails the form to "me@myaddress.com"
Added a button - Easy enough with wizard.
It built this code
Private Sub Email_this_to_the_Helpdesk_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_Email_this_to_the_Helpdesk_Click
Dim stDocName As String
stDocName = "AjiHelp"
' DoCmd.SendObject acReport, stDocName ' Original
DoCmd.SendObject acSendForm, stDocName, 'added acFormatHTML, "William.Nomates@smallcheese.com"
Thing is it DOES set off an email (Hurrah) but not my nice looking form (Boo) It sents an attachment which is a tabular table.
How do I get the button to e-nail the form design with the details ??
Any ideas
Tar
Exit_Email_this_to_the_Helpdesk_Click:
Exit Sub
Err_Email_this_to_the_Helpdesk_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_Email_this_to_the_Helpdesk_Click
End Sub

I *think* what might happen is you need to split the db up using the database splitter , the relevent sections can be run via a make table query , stored , the table is then auto made , and emailed , and then when access detects the outlook with attachment it is readded. It needs some extra dll's to work correctly.
Correct me if i am wrong herebut you might be able to meet your needs by creating a form in outlook.
