AVI files to VCD!!
#1
Howdy,
I am trying to get an AVI file to VCD format using Nero, now this is easy but when finished, the file is about a gig and a half. Does anyone know how to get nero to split the file to two cd's? or a better way to do it?
thanks

In nero, you just tell it to create a 'Video-CD' in its wizard and drag and drop the AVI to the disc.
It takes an age, but AFAIK nero will convert it for you automatically - i.e. downsample it.
Otherwise, go to http://www.dvdrhelp.com/ and read the guides.

grab this proggy,
http://www.boilsoft.com/videosplitter/
easy to use AVI/Mpeg splitter - It only runs for 10 days, but I am sure serials 2K can sort that little problem
Split the AVI first, then burn to VCD's.
hope this helps,
cheers,
mike.
