I use a logitech mx700 all day at work, fortunately it comes with rechargeable batteries which will last probably 2-3 days max before needing an overnight charge.

Yes I want the MX-700 - Can't buy it as part of a cordless keyboard and mouse combination though. Dad wants to buy both together.

I've used a Logitech Cordless Desktop wireless mouse and keyboard for over a year now. Keyboard still on first set of batteries, mouse has replacements every 5-6 days. Invest in some good NiMH rechargeables, or the mouse will eat you out of house and home

yep, as fig says, i got loads og ni-mh batteries, and keep a stock of them fully charged.

i just swap them out as required and then charge another batch overnight.
quite high initial outlay, but i dont pay the leccy bill so running costs are nil.

a good place to get batteries and chargers are www.7dayshop.com

dont bother with batteries less then 1500 ma/hr (or whatever the units are!!)

i also have the logitec series, and i think the batteries in the keyboard are original (3 months) or so.!!!!

- great pieces of kit.

Cool

I've got the optical cordless Microsoft mouse, and run it on duracells. They usually last around 3-4 weeks a set (it takes two), and that's using it around 4-5 hours a day (sometimes longer).

MX700 is the best to go for.

I bought a cordless keyboard and mouse package too, just to get the keyboard. I binned the mouse.

Wireless Intellimouse Explorer, needs the rechargies changing about once a month, PC used recreationaly about an hour a day.

You can buy them with rechargable docking stations, Logitech do a decent model. Here, not cheap though (you'll find it cheaper than Amazon, but it was the first link off Google)

MX700 here as well, been great so far.

Had a small period where it went mad, but has since sorted itself out. The wheel movement is a bit crap compared to my old MS mouse though

Otherwise very happy with it.

EXCEPT (just remembered), bought one of those mouse beans cos I use the mouse about 10 hours a day and was getting CTS. The mouse bean attaches to the back of the mouse with a sticky pad. Stuck it on, then realised it doesnt fit in the docking bay with the pad on. So my mouse bean is used solo, which is a pain.

MX 700 mouse is quite possibly the best mouse ever made so far, even teking the boomslangs into account

Love mine to bits.

Thinking of purchasing one myself. I've always preferred the Intellimouse design up to now. But it seems like Logitech have got it right this time

Vote now if you favour the MX 700
