CMR3

Mods, feel free to move to wherever you think fit. Did a search first but couldn't find anything.
Just loaded up CMR3 and to say I'm disapointed would be the understatement of the year. Allthough the graphics are great, the sound is appalling! It sounds like a squeaky toy. What do I need to do to fix it or is meant to sound that bad.
Also I just have a game pad, and on CMR2 I was spot on perfect, but this I just can't keep the car anywhere near on the road. And can't get the back end out round corners either.
Mrs P has gone off to bed and I was going to fill the time until channel 4 decided to show the rally playing.... but now I'm just plain annoyed!!!

I've just bought it for the PC, I think it's the closest most people will get to rallying for real. I've got what has to be the best Force Feed back Steering wheel to add to the experience!!

I've just tried it myself, and I dunno really.
Force feedback support is REALLY lame, when driving on the smooth, black tarmac the wheel feels goes completely loose, no resistance whatsoever.

I was pretty disappointed at first as well, I thought the demo was shockingly bad...
However I bought a wheel and played around with settings, changed almost everything from sound and graphics to controller sensitivity and now I'm a total convert, I would agree with the light force on the tarmac but to a certain extent its the contrast from gravel to tarmac.
Another thing is the pace notes and arrows which are called a totally the wrong time and don't have a consistent colour but I supposed we'll have to get used to it.
Good game, if a little late
