It's like any other modern PPC2002 device, with a Intel® PXA250 processor with Intel XScale 300MHz technology and 64MB RAM. It also allows USB host conenctivity (e.g keyboard etc )with the additional USB connection kit. However it's one major drawback is expansion/connectivity options as it only has a SDIO slot and no inbuilt wireless connectivity (802.11 or BlueTooth). So with one slot you get the option of memory with a SDCARD or connectivity SDIO Bluetooth card or 802.11.

Depends on your needs and obviously the price.

Crikey, its hard work this.

Reason I was looking - just seen this model in an auction which closes today for £201.

But then theres the Axim X5, and the HP 2215 soon - aaaaghh.

Budget is about £200-250

The e330 is in another auction that finishes today for £180 at the moment, but if you want the additional connectivity options that a CF & SD card provide and don't mind the styling the Dell Axim looks like a good buy.

I'm not in the market at the moment as I have 2 trusty iPAQ 3630 upgraded to PPC2002 and I'm waiting to see what this summers release of PPC2003 brings to the table.

I have a E330 , cost 199 from Amazon, I mainly just use my for sat nav and speed traps, and seems reliable, although toshiba tech support are not very helpful when it comes to quality knowledge.

best software for satnav I feel is tomtom sat navigator 2 www.tomtom.com

best software for speedcams in the uk is trafcam www.trafcam.com and works in conjuction with tomtom sat nav 2.

A gps system that plugs into the e330 can be purchased at http://www.directions.ltd.uk/ for around 90 quid and will power it from your cigar lighter.

Hope this helps
