I want to buy a book for a friend who's retraining in network design & maintainence, and pc building.

Can anybody recommend a good book for this type of thing?

I've looked on Amazon, but there are too many for me to understand...

The SAMS networking in 7 days was quiete good, I read that one a while back, good book.
