I have a .MOV file and I'd like to be able to edit it so that I can swap frames around, insert frames, audio etc.

So what software would I need?

.mov is an Apple quicktime format - you'll need Quicktime Pro if you've got a PC (about 20 quid ish to get a serial which upgrades the free quicktime player), or if you've got access to a recent Mac then you could edit it on iMovie for free(you have to drop it into the media folder of a movie project), or a copy of Final Cut Pro

Question

scoobycar60,

i don't have a clue but a quick search of the web comes up with the following at http://www.belamionline.com/belamisi...ktimehelp.html

Error -2093: The -2093 error may indicate the file 'QuickTime.qts' is missing, moved, or unusable. The QuickTime.qts file is usually located in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. To resolve this symptom, completely remove and reinstall QuickTime.

1. Download the stand-alone version of the QuickTime installer. See Apple's technical document 36507: "QuickTime: How to Obtain the Stand-Alone Installer".
2. Restart Windows in Safe mode.
3. Run Scandisk.
4. Uninstall QuickTime. Make certain to click Uninstall Everything. See technical document 60342: "QuickTime 5: How to Uninstall QuickTime 5 on a Windows-Compatible Computer".
5. Delete the contents of the Temp folder, C:\WINDOWS\TEMP (if it exists).
6. Install QuickTime using the stand-alone version of the QuickTime installer.
7. Restart Windows.
