Trying to leech cgi script
#1
Guys,
I'm trying to get a copy of a cgi script of our own website (hosted by BT on the internet and I don't have the ftp details here), but everytime I enter the path for the script in the browser I just get 'this program has been called incorrectly' in said browser.
Is there any way to copy it down to my PC so I could look at it?
TIA
Simon.

The "problem" is the webserver is configured to execute the script whenever it's called (with ScriptAlias or Options, under Apache), so you can't visit the URL and view the script. You'll need shell access (with telnet (which is bad) or ssh), or just copy it down with FTP. You'll need passwords then
