Right, this is as optimised as it gets in VB.
It's ALL
APIs (for the techies, BitBlt, StretchBlt, TextOut,SetTextColor, Rectangle, GetTickCount, CreatePen, Select and DeleteObject, Phew!)

I've also installed as my saver, knocking Helios off its two year reign.
