MAC OSX..Which ISP?

ok...got one of those powerbook jobs..real nice..real slim..etc
i can only access the internet at work.Which ISP should/can i use for dial up at home?
or has any one got the DNS and server settings so that i can manually put all the info in

well mate as a fellow mac users you have loads of choice man
It all depends on various things:
1.do you want to use the same isp at home that you have at work.if so then you can use the same settings.macs can use dynamic ip settings if required as set out in remote access and TCP/IP settings.
2.If you want a free dial up account such as Virgin Net etc, you can use dynamic or the following DNS 194.168.4.100 and 194.168.8.100.tel number is 0845 455 0280.obviuosly you have to register with them.
3.if you are using OSX on your PBG4 then you use Internet connect for dial up and network prefs to set the TCP/IP settings.again any ISP will work.
4.It also depends on how much mac support you require should you get into trouble.Certain isps are better for mac support.claranet, demon, netscaliber, virgin etc
Obviuosly your thread title syays OSX but just in case you may be using OS9 as well.
Internet wizard in OSX has a list of ISPs as well
