Hi.

Ive got a nokia 7250 and a downloaded copy of pcsuite 5.1 for this phone. It was all working fine with a borrowed ir conector (USB, however my data cable arrived today, with a com port conector, and I cant get the syupid thing to work.

PC suite connection manager wont conect, and when its plugged in my phone diplay goes pale.

Any ideas?

I had this with my 7110, completely uninstall pc suite, install the drivers for the data cable and then reinstall pc suite and everything should be fine.

Ive got no drivers for my data cable. It came (of ebay) by itself. Looking on the nokia site, they seem to support a USB cable, called a DKU-5.

Hoever I have a com port type cable. It does say 7250 on it and has the right phone end connector, just doesnt seem to do anything.

Do I need some drivers for this?

After installing Data Suite, do you get an icon of a phone in the system tray area?

Yes? Double click it, there should then be symbols for the various connection methods available. Click the one you want (Serial), click advanced and set the com port up.

You need to un-install PC suite, and install the drivers first, then install PC suite. You can get the drivers here :
