Error on Windows 98 startup has made font massive
#1
I have recently encountered an "Error Starting Program" when booting my PC.
I then get a dialogue box pop up, twice, which says:-
The system32.exe file is
linked to a missing export KERNEL32.DLL
I then clicked "ok" on both occasions and proceeded to go onto the net. Now, on websites such as Scoobynet and Yahoo, most of the text on each page is massive. Its like internet for old people who cannot see properly!!!
I'm using Windows 98 and AOL7.
I had a recent clearout of unused files. I'm wondering if I got rid of one which I should have left?
Any ideas peeps?
Thanks
Nick

as for the font, try CTRL and roll the mouse wheel, this should resize it.
Try a search on your machine for KERNEL32.DLL and see what happens. I used to get error messages like this sometimes when i tried to launch Autoroute, i.e, there was missing .DLL. I just copied the missing file from another 98 machine and popped it back in the Windows/stsyem folder.this happened several times, for some reason the file kept vanishing.
Be careful though as this worked for my autoroute problem - it may cause ruptions with yours.
