Just a quickie..

Is there a way of altering how select/save as type menus appear in W2K. When in Autocad for instance and I want to open another drawing this type of box appears, but there is not enough info on the files as here:

Now, when I click on details in the view bar and mover the slider things I get this:

- this is more like it, but it will not seem to remember the view settings - every time I open a open/save type box it reverts back to the original view as per the top piccie, I would also like the box to be bigger.

I have checked the "remember each folders view " in the tools/folder options within the windows browser but it makes no difference.

I'm not loosing sleep over it but I am sure there will be a tweak somewhere to customise the boxes as above. It is more annoying than anything else. Is it something that can be fettled in the registry, a bit like speeding up drop down menus etc?

cheers,

mike.

I would have said this is an AutoCad issue not a Windows issue.

I would have thought that as you are displaying the Autocad open screen, this has nothing to do with the way Windows displays it as it is AutoCad that is doing the displaying.

Either way, I can't be much help

Darren

Click on the little icon on the right that looks like a window, this will give you the option of changing your folder view (maybee)
