I remember seeing this a while back, users could click on an icon and it would automatically update their proxy settings in ie.
Can anyone tell me how or point me to a link (have searched but can't find what I'm after)
Thanks

Export a registry key and have them click on that.
Pinched this bit from http://nscsysop.hypermart.net/setproxy.html
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings]
"ProxyServer"="<your proxy IP address>:8080"
"ProxyEnable"=dword:00000001
"ProxyOverride"="<local>"
Change <your proxy IP address> to the private IP address of your HTTP Proxy, and <local> to 127.0.0.1 or any combination of URL's for which you want to bypass the proxy. (I advise you to experiment with this for a while to get the syntax done correctly).
Or something like that.
