Question

Just trying to get my PC a little faster before I bite the bullet and buy a new one!!!

spec - 1.3 Athlon 256Meg Ram, 100Gig of HD space with NVidia GForce2 GTS pro card.

Trying to run TOCA Race Driver - ***** the bed everytime I try to start a race

Gonna take it back to basics before I flush the HD and start a fresh install

What software can be used to find the "hidden" tweaking software a la "MSCONFIG" in Win98/2K......

Cheers,

Dan

You can still use MSCONFIG in XP

You can also use tweakXP from http://www.tweakxp.com

You should be able to run TRD with that spec - j.r-xrs had a similar PC (AMD 1.4, 512 MB RAM, 32 Mb GTS) before we upgraded recently, and it worked fine. The problem is probably TRD itself - it is very sensitive to the CD drive you are using (and sound card). There is a tweak to run it without the CD in the drive, so I suggest you try that.
