I dug out an old Sinclair ZX80 - Yes the one with 0.5k of memory!!! - It has no box or cables so I put it on BST forums for sale. I have a VERY interested party but whats it worth! Anyone any ideas?

There's one on eBay right now - £200 and 4 days to go

Rather nice to know, actually - I have a working one complete with manual in a box in my study...

eBay prices are inflated slightly unfortunately, but things are worth what people will pay. A boxed ZX80 should sell for around 250-300 quid, if it's unboxed I'd pay a hell of a lot less - boxes are hard to come by on their own. I've seen "buy it now" boxed ZX80s for 450 quid, but the buy it now price is always way more than the worth. I'd expect 150-200 for an unboxed and working ZX80 with all leads if the case hasn't yellowed and is in good condition.

And you only offered to give me the text-editing program.

I wrote my one, I don't think I'd trust anything written by someone else, especially if it has a capability to place bids!
