Have been for a couple of months and it's fantastic Pages seem to loads quicker and download times are amazing, if you find a good site

are the upstream speeds the same for 512K, 1Mb and 2Mb?

Upstream ratio is 4:1 the same, so upload is 512 K

Are you saying they are 128K, 256K and 512k respectively?

Are they contention-based like ADSL?

The main difference that I ahve found is when downloading a large file, the ability to have a nice sustained data transfer at over 200KB/s comes in very handy.

Also when streaming video the extra bandwidth is nice. Not sure if I will stay on the 2Mb when the trial ends though, all depends on the final costs.

Ozzy, 200kb was being VERY cautious too!

I have just started downloading XP Pro SP1a and current transfer rate is holding at about 280KB/s
