Question

Chap just back from the States has bought This!

Now, I can't see that on HP's site, so what problems is he going to have? Also what is the UK equivalent?

make sure he's got a 240v adapter and doesn't just cut the plug of his 110v one. I would expect the latest ones to have auto-sensing between 240/110v.

Other than power, I'd check that HP offer a worldwide warranty.

Puff,

I can't find that model of lappy on the HP/Compaq site either I'd phone their warranty number (0870 010 4320) and ask them if the warranty international and why this model number is missing from the support website.
