If I want to buy something off Ebay using a credit card - do I pay Ebay, then Ebay pays the seller?
Just want to make sure before I commit myself to my first (£5.00) bid
(Apologies if this should have been in NSR)

PayPal charge a small percentage to the seller so some sellers put a note in the auction that they will charge 3% (or so) on top of PayPal purchases, if they don't put it in the notes in the auction then you don't need to.

The transaction is always between you and the seller (mores the pity - would be so much easier if ebay handled the finances too). If the seller has a basic paypal account they cannot accept credit card payments, they need to have a Premier Account or above for this.
