I have just installed Photoshop 7 but when I try to run it then it says
"Crogram Files\Abobe\Photoshop7.0\photoshop.exe is not a valid Win 32 application.
Please help as I am tearing my hair out now. Why won't it work?

Maybe because C:\program Files\Abobe\Photoshop7.0\photoshop.exe is not a Win32 application ?

Maybe because it a rip off copy ?

Go buy the genuine package and then you won't have any problems.

Bloody pirates.

Cmon, you were asking for a rip off copy on this very forum just the other day. So I'll stick by my deduction that it is a rip off copy.

Whether it works or not for you, I couldn't care less.

Try thinking about those people who write software for a living. Sales of software keeps them in a job.

Cheers

But think the people who write the p2p software.

We're just using its capabilities

I doubt anyones being 'ripped off' here tbo.

If someone, for whatever reason, cannot or will not pay £600 for Photoshop 7 then who exactly is losing out here?

Adobe is losing nothing as it is highly unlikely that an individual would buy it at such a high price anyway, self employed graphics artist excluded.

Now if a large company or corporation decided to add a few extra client machines with said software (which they do all the time) then Adobe is deffo getting ripped off now, as these companies can well afford it.

Wierd logic I know, but this logic was applied in a test case in the USA where a young lad had pirated software worth thousands on his PC. The lads lawyer argued on the above grounds and the case was flung out.

And no I do not condone software piracy, but I still doubt if Adobe or anyone else has lost money or has been 'ripped off' by Badger Stuffer 'aquiring' a 'free' copy (if he even did).

It is a full working copy that have got via FTp from a very nice Scoobynetter. It is only so that I can play around with pictures for posting on here and I would never have bought it for that money just for the little use it will get.

All the "Piracy" posters....Have you never: recorded a cd, recorded off the radio, downloaded anything and cracked it, etc.
