Picked up a copy from Blockkbusters last night, didn't get to play it much...
But defeated the first boss of sorts, but then died whilst trying to escape the base..
Anyone else got it?

Yes and no.. not 100% convinced by the control system yet, but I only had one go on it last night.. which I s'pose is the only concern, in one go I think I nearly completed the space craft stage - prior to landing on the planet (which I believe the rest of the game is set on)... so will this game be too easy...!?
Graphically very good, music is very good to, sets the mood well...
I'll let you know more once I get a chance to play it more.
Rgds, Alex

Got this on Friday and it's absolutely superb. Only bit that annoys me is the scanning you have to do on all the enemies to 100% the game, Pretty sure I have not scanned some of the earlier creatures and they no longer appear. Currently up to the artifact of Lifegiver.
Recommend it to anyone, first person shooter with some puzzle parts, lots of extra's and a cool story line.
If you link a game boy advance up with metroid fusion in it (assuming you have completed Fusion) you can play the original NES Metroid - Absolute genius!!!

.. this game is very addictive actually
On the planet now.. and I was close to the end of the first level.
I found reading the manual helped to get used to all the extra tools the robot has...
