Unhappy

Hi,

I'm stuck . Basically this image is the first page of a site i'm working on. When you hover over the top part of the image it should change colour and the 'alt' should say enter flash site. If you hover over the bottom part the top part should change back to the original colour and the bottom part should now change colour and display in 'alt' Enter static site.

The problem i've got is that this is 1 image. Rollover images are no problem to me but I just can't figure out how to get 2 seperate rollovers from one image?????

Any help will result in a pint from the local

Regards

Marc

Hello

Splice the image using Macromedia fireworks. It then generates a table with the images, and you can also get it to generate the javascript to do the rollover.

Yep, imagemap is the way to go. Piece of ****, you just set which co-ordinates of the image are for the link, including alt tags.

If you use an image map, you'll have to have three big pictures though? With the different bits coloured in?

Transparant background .gif images with javascript rollovers, using css positioning to overlay one over the other.

Bloody hell, could you make it any more difficult, what's wrong with an imagemap and a rollover? Rollover the top bit, JS to change the image to one with top bit in orange, rollover the bottom, JS to change the image to one with the bottom bit in orange, stick a preload on, and your sorted..
