ok just sold my garmin portable gps system, am now considering one of those little computers ya carry round with ya, i understand you can get a gps reciever and the software for a total navigation package, now as ya can prob tell from my text i havent a clue what im goin on bout lol, id like to source a second hand handheld computer and iff possible the reciever and software also.
i think i want actual navigation with arrows or voice, not just a pointer showing were ya are on a map.
but on a budget hence the second hand bits prob from ebay or similar, are all palm type computer thingys useable??? what software? what gps reciever?
Ta chaps

You can get a GPS module to fit in the expansion port on a Handspring Visor
