Im new to CS only got Half-Life the other day, great game. Been playing CS on Blueyonder and everyone on there seems to be seasoned professionals and I don’t last more than two minuets before I get shot, I never get chance to explore the game and practice any moves because I always get killed. I was just wondering if there were any CS servers for beginners only so I don’t keep on getting shot all the while??

so called beginner server are ful of experts anyway
alos a lot of people cheat at this game
Youre best best is to use your own bots which you can download or find a server with 2-3 other people on.
I find playing with a friend over the net is quite good since we are both preety rubbish
If there too many people on a server its normally instant death

lots of scoobynetters who play CS hang out at http://www.cshq.co.uk/bbs/ and look after a public server and have our own password protected server.
Come and introduce yourself and ask nicely for the password and practice as much as you want on the servers.

......also uk2 have a few beginner only servers. They kick anyone doing to well so normal a good place to learn. Cheating in CS is almost dead now as the inbuilt cheat protection software is getting better and better.

ork uk (213.38.43.157:27015) has recently updated it anti-cheat software, all players now are required to run the "cheating death" patch from united admins
must admit - I have seen a lot of people that I thought were good are not quite that good anymore

Jolt are fairly low standard so try their servers. BY are good for pistol praccy as they have a pistols only server. Hone those l33t DE skillz
My top tip is that as soon as you get comfortable on a server find a harder one. Dont get used to whooping *** on a noob server. The best way to improve is to play better players and as many of them as possible to pick up tactics/techniques and help your response times.

Definitely Uk2 - I've personally been cold turkey for a year or so and recently got back into it following DSL upg.
