Any P800 users out there?
Which Web browser do you use?
I played with this unit using the Opera browser. Absolutely superb.
20mins on Scoobynet [posted too] without a hiccup.
No horizontal scrolling required.

P800 Software for the software.

Small Screen Rendering Opera site.

Absolutely superb ...

Thanks mate

Will this work over a dial-up connection? I'm trying to get my company to pay for GPRS but no joy yet.

It's a great toy, BTW. I just need to work out all of the functionality>

Cheers
Kav

I'm due for an upgrade. I've had a quick look at the phone and it looks good. Heard rumours of locking up though. What are the opinions of this phone ?

cheers

Yes it does lock up every so often, although free firmware updates will fix it

Does anyone know where I could get my P800 firmware upgraded. I've had it since before Christmas (came as an evaluation unit) and the FW is quite dated now.

thanks

You'll have to take it to your local resource center like everyone had to to upgrade T68 to T68i.
Check with your service provider first though ...

Call this number :

08705 237 237

They should be able to tell you. You may have to tell them which prototype model you have.
